i stayed up just to see kids performance that night it was amazing and that song was perfect for that day its a very poweful song with so much truth and honesty. you are the rock n roll jesus kid rock on

Hey Rock, That was an awesome performs of Amen, perfect timing! The AC shows getting close a few weeks away. I made my reservation at the Borgata for that night, I plan on getting there early and get a good start before the show.. Sounds like a Jim Beam and Coors light kind of night or was it the Northern lights and the Southern comfort, Im sure the whole night will be a big Haze and a great time like always. Amen was perfect for the occasion! I could definitely "feel" it. That was a day filled with so many mixed emotions for so many, myself included. It was interesting hearing what all these little 8 year old children had to say in my classroom that morning - obviously they had heard comments from their parents. (pretty harsh things from their mouths) Such an innocent and easily persuaded age. Hopefully by the end of the school day on inauguration day they were looking at things a little differently...to respect the new leader of our nation and pray that he makes good and honest decisions. How do you explain such "big" issues to 7-8 year olds? Amen is such a powerful song and holds so much truth to life! Thanks for such an awesome song Kid!
