Really? Do tell. If they did not honor the agreement and wasted time them moving on...We've got bigger fish to fry! Business is Business. Tell me what else?
denise_3x SURVIVOR's picture

and with RESPECT to all, can I ask ONE FAVOR of you Bob???? If you think there MAY BE a "breach" in the contract for your show in the ATL (CenterStage) could ya let a sista know and maybe let me LOOK OVER the contract for ya? I an by NO MEANS a lawyer, NOR do I PLAY ONE on TV.....but I would offer my "services" of negotiating FREE of CHARGE!! (so as to NOT MISS such a KICK ASS OPPORTUNITY to see you in such an "intimate" setting!) You ARE MY "bucket list" BABE and the ONLY "must have" on my "list"!!! Thanks, Roll on........

JHL, Kid Rock Never cancels a show.. You can bet your ass, there is a VERY GOOD REASON>... so STFU
kidrockangel's picture

Many Kid Rock fans have signed up to volunteer for this event, If the organizers are pulling some shady shit, they would rather not go.. Whaddup,,,

@Denise -you go girl!!! Well said!!!
JGoldie's picture

Amazing that people have such strong opinions both ways and you don't even know the facts! Wait until the full story to come out before you judge who is wrong here.

Come to New Orleans 4 the VooDoo Music Experience Please Please :D
LadyGoBlue's picture

Oh, and I agree with Big Fish and Denise....Out wit ya JHL....He/She must not know Kid Rock at all!!!
Partyguy407's picture

Sometimes you have to stand your ground...If they would of came through on their part, you would have followed through with yours...Its that simple!!
denise_3x SURVIVOR's picture

And "public opinions" are JUST LIKE A$$HOLES.......EVERYBODY has one!!! Even Hank,Jr. knows that! Hoorah for our RIGHTS to FREEDOM of SPEECH! We all can say what we feel, but at the end of the day what matters to each of us is : FAIRNESS & RESPECT. Did we use our time on this earth to LIVE by the GOLDEN RULE? And can we lay our heads down at night and KNOW we DID WHAT WAS RIGHT?
LadyGoBlue's picture

Oh Bobby...we all know that you care. You would only cancel a show because of something that goes against your word. You are a giant and a genius. Rock on Forever!
67badman's picture

It's amazing after all he has done for the people all the things he continues to do that people would even question his motives I really look forward to seeing him in silver spring maryland hope nothing goes wrong with that show
lexxykat's picture

I'm sure there's got to be a damn good reason for him to cancel his appearance! Kid Rock has one of the biggest hearts in the world and for him to say there was a breach of contract, it must've been a huge one! He does plenty for charity that half of us don't even know about so show the man some respect and don't diss him for his choices. He's allowed to do what he wants, when he wants. I have never heard of him canceling any show for any reason - even ice storms! Keep it Real and Keep it ROCKin Kid!!!! I Love ya!
dog and pony show's picture

I don't blame you. Contracts are made for a reason. Get over it people, because he's not there doesn't mean "they won't find a cure for cancer". Be fucking realistic.
JGoldie's picture

He must have had a good reason...it would be nice to know the details. Because as much as I love KR this makes him look like an ass to cancel a charily even at the last minute. Again, there might be facts that makes the ACS look like asses but as it stands now KR comes out on the losing side in public opinion.

Love to ya! In the words of another great American Badass many years ago: "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do..." [mr. john wayne] Us little people out here don't know anything about the back door wheeling and dealing that goes on in the music biz. I trust you to do the right thing Mr. Ritchie, you have always struck me as a smart business man. You are also a man of your word, and generous to a fault. I am sure the reason you backed out is very valid. Peace, love, and Rock On!!!
denise_3x SURVIVOR's picture

@ JHL : You DO NOT know the circumstances of which Bob has declined to perform for this event. Nor do I. But out of RESPECT, you should be more considerate of his CHOICE to not be a part of this event. OBVIOUSLY, if Bob says there is a "BREACH of CONTRACT" then there is MORE TO IT than him just NOT WANTING to show up for the $$$! In my opinion, CONTRACTS are MADE TO PROTECT the parties involved and if they are NOT adhered to, then SOMEONE (or BOTH PARTIES) MAY BE at RISK for some "damages" or liabilities to themselves. And to be totally fair, without knowing the specifics we CAN NOT JUDGE what Bob does or DOESN'T DO! I am a 2 time Breast Cancer SURVIVOR and my husband is a Leukemia SURVIVOR and I can say, WITHOUT A DOUBT, that the American Cancer Society DOES serve a very NEEDED PURPOSE. And YES, the CHILDREN SUFFERING with this disease are JUST AS IMPORTANT. These people DO WORK very hard to make such events happen, but BELIEVE ME when I say that WHO is THERE performing CAN BE REPLACED in a moment's notice. (WON'T be AS GOOD as Kid Rock, but if a person is going to spend $$$ for a CHARITY event, then who CARES who is performing? Shouldn't it be about the PURPOSE of the EVENT and NOT THE PERFORMERS?) IT all comes down to this: donations are about GIVING....NOT RECEIVING! So gooooo and HAVE A GOOD TIME! YOU'RE $$$ will be MUCH APPRECIATED.

Oh no! We were looking forward to seeing you tomorrow and cancelled plans to attend. We love your concerts and planning on enjoying our 10th show! We see you in Detroit, Saginaw, Chicago, Charlotte... Plus, hoping to see Krause and crew!
JGoldie's picture

I agree...complete BS since this was for charity.... unless there was a legit reason. Let's not jump to conclusions until all the facts come out.

BOBBY HAS HUGE HEART OF GOLD !!! HE WOULD NOT CANCEL A SHOW UNLESS HE HAD A VERY GOOD REASON !!!
AnnaJ's picture

Wow, canceling on the last min to a charity gig? I understand following your "word" but when you don't explain it makes me wonder, were you not going to make enough money off of this charity? For those of you who don't know, events like this take so much from an orgainzation to pull together and it is vital for to help support their programs. Lets hope none of you get cancer and need the services they provide...

I think Kid Rock does plenty out of the goodness of his heart. Its good to hear he is a man of his word and he is sticking to it.

AMEN TO EVERY HUMAN!!! come to Wedowee AL. I can tell you WHY!
jhl's picture

NOT COOL! Canceling the day before an event that The American Cancer Society worked so hard to put together. This is an event for CANCER and CHILDREN. An event that YOU agreed to -- contract or not... you should be doing this out of the goodness of your heart. You have let down a ton of Detroiter's tomorrow night. It seems as though fame and greed are getting the best of our true American BAD ASS :(
