I believe the children are our future so teach them well and let them lead the way and show them all the beauty they possess inside, give them a sense of pride to make it easier and let the children's laughter remind us of the way we used to be because I decided long ago never to walk in anyone's shadow , if I fail if I succeed at least I'll live as I believe and no matter what they take from me they can't take away our dignity because the greatest love of all is inside of me!

I care about the children that come to my 2nd grade classroom to learn everyday. For some, it is the most stable part of their life.

Until I had to start dealing with PTSD I had no idea of what the emotional as well as physical problems that our military are suffering with and NOT GETTING THE PROPER HELP. We still have guys from Vietnam walking around homeless and hungry and suffering from PTSD and the government is not helping. To top it off, many have pulled more than 1 tour in Iraq which compounds the problem. It is also a fact that the dogs sent over suffer from PTSD and the same treatment is carried out with them. They stay in the U.S. a while and go right back. There can be a better plan but nobody cares enough to think it out.
