KID ROCK ANNOUNCES TOUR UNLIKE ANY OTHER, EVER.

    October 10, 2011

Kid Rock today announced a tour unlike anything ever done before. Kid Rock has assembled a team of Detroit titans to show support for other cities in need, and to show that Detroit, while experiencing it's own difficulties still has the power to unite to help others around the country. Kid Rock, in association with this powerhouse group of local Detroit business people, will donate money to local charities, causes and individuals via the Kid Rock Foundation, all along every stop of his underplay club tour. Radio station partners in each tour market will help determine those individuals and organizations in need. The tour will feature stops at Nashville's famed Ryman Theater and New York's Beacon Theater to name a few, a big change from Kid Rock's Born Free Tour, which saw him playing the country's biggest stadiums, arenas and amphitheaters. Some of the Detroit businesses and individuals to contribute include: Compuware Corporation, The Suburban Collection, Quicken Loans Inc., Fathead, The Detroit Pistons, Danialle and Peter Karmanos, Jr., Holly and Tom Gores, Catherine and Nathan Forbes, Gretchen and Ethan Davidson.

Kid Rock came up with the idea for this tour to coincide with the launch of his new single "Care," from his critically acclaimed platinum-selling 2010 album "Born Free." Says Kid Rock, "The song says 'the least that I can do is Care' - and I want to put my money where my mouth is. Everyone knows that Detroit is hurting. But I want to show that even though we don't have a lot on our own plate, it doesn't mean the people of my hometown don't have compassion to share with others all over the country. At the end of the day we're all Detroit, we're one country, one family".

The full itinerary and on sale information can be found below. Kid Rock will be backed by the one-of-a-kind Twisted Brown Trucker Band, his constant companions for many years on the road. Ty Stone will be support on all dates. Tickets for the tour will go on sale at 10 am on Saturday the 15th of October. Presale tickets are available to the Kid Rock Congregation.

Info on the KRC page....but it doesn't really talk about any shows in Detroit. I am wondering if the last of the tour will be separate tickets and ticket pre sales??? I wish I knew what was going on.
Thomas_26's picture

They are limiting 2 tickets per show and you have to pick them up at will call. Just an FYI

Same problem here, completed the KRC registration with the premium option and was hoping to lock down several tickets for the Buffalo NY show.

I'm not sure which one to throw in first...the towel, or the liscense plate. I'm most certainly not a Kid anymore and I think that I'm actually out growing rock concerts.....40 yrs. is a long time and I guess when you started out by the age of 13 it can get old after awhile. The thrill is gone when you don't get to meet the rock stars too. I've been lucky and I've had a tone of fun and enough memories to last a life time. I'll stick to riding in my car with the stereo on! It's much cheaper too! Rock On. I can't afford anymore grey hairs either...I hate to even see 3 of them now and these concerts are a bust in the ass now-a-days. The guards are too strict for me.....I'm not going to boot camp, I thought I was going to a rock and roll show!? My have times changed...I'd rather look back than ahead as far as concerts go! Good luck to all of you!

The link to where we purchased tickets for previous shows is no longer working. Could you please post information soon about when KRC members will be able to purchase presale tickets? This should be done soon. Thanks.

Please let us know pre-sale info for tickets. It seems, even though a member of the KRC, spending thousands of dollars on KR concerts and getting tickets through the presale, I always get poor seating. Who is getting all of the premium seats? What does a loving, devoted fan have to do to get premium seats? Very sad and frustrated.. :-(

Okay what's the deal we have a date for the ones that are not members! What about us KRC FANS? I even paid more to be a member so I could get a Kid Rock T-shirt...lol. Please give us a Date On The PreSale Tickets For The KRC FANS. I thought by being a member I would be able to get tickets easier and not be paying out the butt. The last tickets we bought we paid 388.00 a piece that's not including tax'es & shipping & handling, they were front row off to the side of stage! All we are wanting is a Date like who may have gave the non members a Date of s Sale!

PLEASE post pre-sale info for KRC!!! we are all very anxious to get tickets!!!

(My hubby agreed and he went to a ton of concerts back in the early 80's w/ the Big 80's Rockers!! LO)L....will take a miracle to get to the Fillmore w/ a new baby....but what a sweet venue!! Bummed out that my partner in crime is in New Zealand, she would surely drag me to you, KID!!!!

Also looking for presale info link for the 11/22 show. Thanks!

DAMN, no southern states?????? I had feeling AR wouldn't be on the list after all the shit that was said when so many couldn't make the concert due to snow storm. Well I was one of them, but hey I just bought tickets to the Dallas show to make it up! And it was well worth the 5 hr road trip!!!! I wish you would add a state at least close to us here!!!!!! Thanks for all you do KID!!!!!

When I visited my Mother inFeb. I took the Born Free Cd with me to play for Mom. I knew she was a big Martina McBride fan, and thought she would like the song Care. Mom loved it...especially when I explained the words to her-she said"I like Kid Rock" The music, the words, she liked it all... We were planning on attending the Born Free concert in Milwaukee on July 3rd, but unfortunately Mother passed away a month before. It makes me proud to support Kid Rock in his efforts to help other's. I know when I purchase items from the Kid Rock store, etc. the money is going to help people in need. Thanks for all your "CARE" Kid Rock!

Just a shout out to say THANK YOU to Bob Ritchie and Compuware Corporation, The Suburban Collection, Quicken Loans Inc., Fathead, The Detroit Pistons, Danialle and Peter Karmanos, Jr., Holly and Tom Gores, Catherine and Nathan Forbes, Gretchen and Ethan Davidson for your dedication to the betterment of this country! May you be blessed a thousand fold.

Come on presale info!!!! KC can't wait to have you back.....

My prayer has been answered...northwest shows! I've been begging for a SLC show, and it's happening! Bob, I happen to be doing a little charity work of my own on that date 12/3. I'm co-hosting a Wine and Swine dinner in Park City to benefit the Peace House; women and children escaping domestic violence. Come join us for shredded pork sandwiches and wine before the show. I'm going to have to bow out of my own event to haul ass to your show. I'll give you a ride! You'll be on time, I promise! Then I can just jump on your tour bus to Boise...or more likely driving on my own. A girl can dream!
Patti_24's picture

Anyone know anything about presale???
Tammy_61's picture

Add me to the list for Spokane Wa. Missed seeing him this year in Washington but I know he can only do so many shows. This charity thing is so awesome and I hope more of your peers take note and maybe think of doing something like this themselves. You are a true American and a Hero to many. God Bless you.

I met Robert (KidRock) at the opening @ Biloxi Hard Rock Hotel & Casino an awesome show, then again after his show @ the Hollywood Hard Rock Live but this time I was fortunate enough to spend quality time with him and his crew for about an hour. We had spoken about our children and our family background, one of his band members took over my camera and the next day I had over 30 pics which was very nice. He was very cordial and respectful to all of us that just happened to be relaxing in the VIP area in the Hard Rock Casino. I then was able to see him again when he came back in town, ALWAYS TO A SOLD OUT CROWD. LOOK FORWARD IN SEEING YOU AGAIN ROBERT.
