    Kid Rock announced plans for a fall club tour Friday morning at the Old Newsboys Goodfellow Fund of Detroit's annual tribute breakfast, where Rock was honored as the Edward H. McNamara Goodfellow of the Year.

    He said the tour will benefit a to-be-named cultural organization in Detroit, and he hopes to raise around $1 million.

    "I want to go out as an ambassador of goodwill for Detroit and Michigan," he said, promising to name the tour's benefactor at a later date.

    In addition, Rock said he will raise money for organizations in each town he visits. He expects to donate around $25,000 in each of the 15 or so cities on the tour.

    Details are still being ironed out, but Rock expects to launch the month-long outing in the South in mid-November, wind around the country and end back in Detroit "right before Christmas." No venues have been firmed, but a date — or dates — at the Fillmore Detroit or Fox Theatre seem likely.

I cant even imagine how powerful your visit here would be and we all support your concerts in the Detroit area every time you are in town. Seeing you at the Fillmore would be AWESOME!! The Emerald Theater in Mt Clemens would be pretty cool, too! I have been to 4 shows in 3 years and CAN NOT WAIT for the club tour.

KR,Bobby you are such an awsome man. I was at The Dow Event Center in January to see you I didn't get to see much of the show due to disrespectful aholes standing infront of my wheel chair. I actually went and met with Matt Blasey he is the organizer for the events to address the handicap seating. He said he was going to fix the problem I would like to see if he did. I even gave him fairly easy options. I am determend to see you again. There is nothing like a determend woman. :) HUGS from my heart and cudos to you on your award. You are the shit!

Congrats! I'm proud of you and what you give back! Bobby giving back to the state and to the country is something you don't have to to do, but this goes to show what kind of good heart you have.Everyone is loving your support for Detroit MI. and your country. The men are going out for opening seasoning, so they will be going to Deer Camp. Swiss Inn is having a band for this wk.end! Night Shift their loud for a bar but really good!! Don't hurt to try! Then come help me split would for an elder lady that burns wood all winter need to stack it to for her. This lady owns alot of land she use to farm it now she rents it out right outside of Farwell she is getting Alz. early stages. All three boys work out on the rd. so I go help her with what she needs.
