    My people have spoken to The Allegan County Fair people, at length, about all the problems and complaints. I want everyone to understand I was contracted to play the show and we only handled the DELIVERY of Badass Beer thru a distributor. We explained to them my fans drink ALOT of beer!! So they did order an extra 30 kegs from there original order placed. WE did not sell or set up the system to which the beer was sold, we only brought our Badass truck, blow up bottles and a few games and promo items to sell and giveaway. There was no doubt some confusion on there end and it could of been handled better by the fair. They are trying to make things right by offering refunds and I believe have also learned a lot from this event. When you play 75 shows in a year it is nearly impossible to insure each one will be handled with perfection. We do the best we can. It sounds like people enjoyed the show, but the seating was not upto par. This was out of my hands but we will try and double check things like this in the future. You live and you learn. Thanks to everyone who came out.

    The Allegen County Fair would like to thank all of you who came out to the Fair for the Kid rock concert on September 10th. what a fantastic show!

    Although the concert was great there is an issue we want to clear p:

    Beer Ticket Problem at the Allegan County Fair - We would like to apologize to anyone that wasn't able to buy beer with purchased beer tickets at our Kid Rock concert on September 10, 2011.

    Beer was sold on the east and west ends of the tracks. Beer sales were higher than we had anticipated and when the beer distributor told me that they could possibly run out of beer we contacted our beer sellers and told them to shut down ticket sales and just let the people use up the reminaing tickets that were already purchased. Somewhere in all the hype of the concert the east end of the track was told to totally shut down. The west end of the track continued to sell people who had already purchased tickets but unfortunately some concert attendee's ont he east end of the track were unaware of this situation.

    WE WILL BE REFUNDING TO ANYONE WITH UNUSED BEER TICKETS THAT WERE PURCHASED AT THE KID ROCK CONCERT AT THE ALLEGAN COUNTY FAIR. YOU MAY MAIL IN YOUR UNUSED BEER TICKETS OR SHOW UP AT THE FAIR OFFICE WITH YOUR UNUSED BEER TICKETS.

    YOU MUST HAVE THESE TICKETS TO ALLEGAN COUNTRY FAIR BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 19-21, 2011. If arriving in person with your tickets the office is open 9am to 5pm. Questions 888.673.6501

Well, looked forward to my front row seats at allegan for @ 2 months. Was on left side of track looking directly at a wall and behind the speakers. Worst seats I've ever had!! Would have been better in the grandstands. REALLY DISSAPOINTED!! Could hardly see the action, only when kid came out to the very front of stage. :(

I'm so amazed you REALLY take the time to read the comments and respond back to your fans. I had one of the best nights of my life when I heard you for the first time at the Allegan Fair. The chair situation was pretty messed up but I just had to make the best of it by standing on mine so I could see but I was in one of the last rows and everyone in front of me was standing. I did get the thrill of my life when you walked right past me!!! I just wish I had been prepared with my camera but the image is engrained in my brain forever anyway. I can't wait for my 2nd KR concert. BTW - Saturday mornings are my favorite day of the week - I have the house to myself and even though I spend the morning cleaning house - I DO IT EVERY SATURDAY TO KID ROCK blasting on my iPOD!!!

I am glad that the issue was brought to your attention. You are right when you say the seating was not up to par. I follow you all over Michigan and it was by far the worst venue I have ever been too. Such a bummer, we actually had to leave because at one point I truly felt unsafe. I got to see you perform a few in the beginning (American Badass, Cowboy, God Bless Saturday, Low Life and Care, after that we took off! Can't wait for you to play Pine Knob again!

hey tina tell your newphew thank you from me please :) and to be safe and prayers up for them to return safe my son over thear now he went at what they call prime huntting season how they come up with that stuff no clue any way he a sgt in usmc 4th tour cant wait for buses to come in post deploment is a wonderfull thing .OK THATS TO BAD ABOUT THE BEER BUT HE GETTING YOU ALL DONE RIGHT CAUSE THATS ONE THING THEY DO TO IS KEEP US FANS SMILEN AND HAPPY AND NO CONCERT OF THAT KIDS CAN EVER BE BAD CAUSE ITS THE BEST OUT THEAR FOR SURE ENJOY YOUR REFUNDS AND TURN THAT KID MUSIC UP WHOOP WHOOP

I wanted to go but my nephew was leaving for afghanistan (Go MARINES!!!) My friends went and said it was a great show and just barely mentioned the ticket/beer problem, so it must not have been to bad. I went to see Jason Aldean last night and was so happy to see the BAD ASS blow ups!! No tickets just cash and got to drink alot of my favorite beer!!

I COULDN'T IMAGINE BEING UPSET ABOUT ANYTHING AS LONG AS I GOT TO SEE YA'LL UP CLOSE. BUT THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT IS THE BEST BEER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY MOUTH. I BET I NEED TO DO SOME MORE RESEARCH, BUT I AM TRYING TO SEE IF WE CAN STILL GET OUT DETROIT JERSEYS FROM THE SHOW PERFORMED ON AUGUST 13TH AT COMERICA. WE HAD VIP TIX, (2), AND USUALLY THEY SET YA UP IN ONE PLACE. (CINCI WAS THE BEST). THESE PEOPLE AT COMERICA HAD US GO ALL OVER LOOKING FOR OUR VIP WRIST BANDS AND THEN SOME OTHER BUILDING 2 BLOCKS AWAY FOR OUR JERSEYS WHICH AT THAT POINT THE BUILDING WAS CLOSED. THAT WAS WHERE WE ALMOST GOT JUMPED WHICH I POSTED A MESSAGE ABOUT EARLIER ON. I RAN OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC TO GET A POLICE OFFICER TO GET THESE GUYS OFF OUR A**ES! I LAUGHED WHEN IT WAS ALL OVER BECAUSE THE END RESULT WAS WE WERE JUST FINE AND DANDY. ADRENALINE RUSH FOR THIS LIL' COUNTRY GIRL. BUT NOW MY HUSBAND WON'T TAKE ME BACK TO DETROIT:(:( WE WILL BE IN TAYLOR IN THE SPRING THOUGH TO SEE MY COUSINS AND UNCLE. XXOO MUCH LOVE KEEP PRESSIN ON, MY LOVE. PEACE!

Wow...call me crazy but that was the best concert! The best I have been to out of alllll the KR concerts! I was VIP at the 40th Birthday Bash and could not see him as well as this intimate type setting!! Detroit venues have a fan base atmosphere that is out of this world(maybe cause I live here)...I have been to a few out of town concerts as well...but this performance was stellar!!! Great JOB!!!!!!

The show was BADASS I loved it. Heard the complaining about the seating down on the track. Hey remember I camped out for 2 days got my front row spot taken and ended up in grandstand A awesome seats so Ha to the ones who moved my shit! Kid you rock everytime and I hope to see you soon!!!!!!!!! Im sure next time when the fair gets someone that rocks the fair like you maybe they will just forget about the chairs and remember AC likes their beer so they can ROCK AND ROLL ALL NIGHT!

At least the fair is trying to make up for any fuckups...lol The show went on...and with only a few hiccups...:) With the shattering beers sales... im sure people had enough badass inem to overlook a keg or 10?IMHO:) Thats great of you, to look into this in any event! Next time the ROUND of beers is on ALLEGAN County Fair. Cheers.

Bottom line; I'd be pissed off too if I had to pay for something that I didn't get. I don't know about anyone else but I can't afford to throw money away like that. They know they should give a refund for the money paid. Hopefully it didn't take Kid Rock having to get too involved out of his busy day to make it happen.

I think the fair's liability insurance probably had them distributing the beer in the way they did..any time you add alcohol to an event, the insurance skyrockets, and so does the liability.

BOB with your caliber of Buisness it would be wise to hire 3 smart women to check ahead and make sure stuff is just so...there out there...someone that will travel to the venue a week ahead of time and do a once over with organizers..whats wrong with that? the ANSWER NO-THING~ in the end its less you have to worry about and peeps will be happy....they are called personal assistants and they usually are TOO BUZY to be bent over anything ~ pay them WELL.

As A small TIME stockholder imagine my disapointment. I am broken down and am looking towards my stock to help me in I can make it effie years...skidding and a shorting can get otherwise happy people NOT so HAPPY. use to bartend on eucher night so..if those mugs were NOT at a frosty appearance well TIPS were not plentiful. I learned the FIRST time too ~ pretty soon after I planned ahead weeks ahead soon bartenders wanted eucher tuesdays And my patrons were like NOTTA GONNA HAPPEN ..we want flash ~ instant celebrity ..lol. tape around the beer can with a CABO WABO chaser . DO IT...at least with the cabo wabo sample bottles the extras you could of just handed to the customers and they would of been NOT SO PISSED OFF ~

Thank you Bobby, we know you are not responsible for the miscommunications with the fair staff or their crowd and traffic control. When there is one road in and one road out of Allegan well. The beer shortage and an unruly crowd that happens cause of that well maybe next time they will order more BadAss Beer. You are by far the best entertainer I have had the pleasure of seeing.

You are awesome for caring so much even though I didn't even know about this., The seating was the crazy thing. But, it was more due to people that were standing on the seats in front of others. Those people were the problem. Great show as always!!! Love you for caring so much about us fans!!!!

KR, thanks for posting explanation from Allegan Co. Fair ppl..that does help to know background info... I wasn't affected by the beer situation (except I forgot my ID and couldn't get any, LOL), but at least I had a few Badass beers at Bubba's beforehand (they ran out of it too!!) They did seem like good folks..I'm sure just overwhelmed. Anyway I had a great rockin' time, posted the setlist (hope it was right), got some great pics and enjoyed the show!!!! So thank you and the TBT's from the bottom of my heart, b/cI was unable to get to Comerica and really wanted to see y'all again! I'll plan on hitting some of your other venues once you have time to rest up (bwtween you and Bob Seger, I'm going to be broke !!!)

We did not have any of the problems people are complaining about, got there early enough to drink a bunch of beer before the concert. GREAT SHOW, our 3 rd this year. LOVE and appreciate the fact that you listen to your fans and try to fix the problems. Shows what a great guy you are. Thank you.

I didn't attend the Allegan show, but had been reading all the posts about what a cluster fuck it was. Folding chairs at a rock concert....gee, what could go wrong with that scenario?... Duh...To the poor crowd control/lack of security & lack of communication about beer sale ending times. Nice to see Allegan is trying to right one of their wrongs by refunding people their unused beer tickets, I hope the fairground people learned some valuable lessons, so in the future people attending concerts there will be safer & have a more enjoyable experience. Great job to Kid Rock & his people for listening to the fans & helping them.
