My people have spoken to The Allegan County Fair people, at length, about all the problems and complaints. I want everyone to understand I was contracted to play the show and we only handled the DELIVERY of Badass Beer thru a distributor. We explained to them my fans drink ALOT of beer!! So they did order an extra 30 kegs from there original order placed. WE did not sell or set up the system to which the beer was sold, we only brought our Badass truck, blow up bottles and a few games and promo items to sell and giveaway. There was no doubt some confusion on there end and it could of been handled better by the fair. They are trying to make things right by offering refunds and I believe have also learned a lot from this event. When you play 75 shows in a year it is nearly impossible to insure each one will be handled with perfection. We do the best we can. It sounds like people enjoyed the show, but the seating was not upto par. This was out of my hands but we will try and double check things like this in the future. You live and you learn. Thanks to everyone who came out.

Please see details on beer ticket refunds below. I think it at least shows the fair is trying to make things right and does care.

PS..You folks did SHATTER there beer sales record that night! Congrats! - Kid Rock

Beer Ticket Problem at the Allegan County Fair - We would like to apologize to anyone that wasn't able to buy beer with purchased beer tickets at our Kid Rock concert on September 10, 2011.

Beer was sold on the east and west ends of the tracks. Beer sales were higher than we had anticipated and when the beer distributor told me that they could possibly run out of beer we contacted our beer sellers and told them to shut down ticket sales and just let the people use up the reminaing tickets that were already purchased. Somewhere in all the hype of the concert the east end of the track was told to totally shut down. The west end of the track continued to sell people who had already purchased tickets but unfortunately some concert attendee's ont he east end of the track were unaware of this situation.

WE WILL BE REFUNDING TO ANYONE WITH UNUSED BEER TICKETS THAT WERE PURCHASED AT THE KID ROCK CONCERT AT THE ALLEGAN COUNTY FAIR. YOU MAY MAIL IN YOUR UNUSED BEER TICKETS OR SHOW UP AT THE FAIR OFFICE WITH YOUR UNUSED BEER TICKETS.

YOU MUST HAVE THESE TICKETS TO ALLEGAN COUNTRY FAIR BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 19-21, 2011. If arriving in person with your tickets the office is open 9am to 5pm. Questions 888.673.6501

When people sqwak, Kid Rock listens. There must have been some angry individuals that night over beer.....ya don't piss off a beer buddy and at least Kid came to the rescue! Now that was a good boy! I'm sure those people would have rather had a Badass beer than a refund that night....but when they say it's too late I guess it's too late....Sometimes ya gotta SUCK IT UP, or when drinking a beer suck it down. Sometimes even a nice cold Pepsi will do when all else fails.

We will follow instructions as posted. Thank-You, Kid. You run a real tight ship over there. Sorry for any disparaging words... and I would like to add once more what a real delight it is to observe the Twisted Brown Trucker Band in action... and you seem to be the ONLY one carrying the once proud 'Rock-and-Roll' tradition onward, nowadays... and you do it in grand swagger and style. Did I meet you backstage at a few Stevie Ray Vaughan concerts way, way back in the 1980's... you were just a teen... but you gave Stevie a really nice gift one cold night. Was that you?

My sister and I drove more than 200 miles from Wisconsin to see you play at the fair. We figured a small venue in your home state would prove to be the best Kid Rock show ever - and we were right! Who cares if the beer was a logistical nightmare? or that hoards of drunk people were pushing and clawing their way to the front since the security was non-existent?....I could have cared less. As soon as you hit the stage singing American Badass, I was mesmerized...you were smiling and had such an awesome presence it was worth every penny we spent in gas and tickets for 5th row center! I've been streaming the video in my head since last Saturday...it was the best concert I have ever been to in my life - and you played TONS of songs! I'm on the waiting list for your cruise and keeping my fingers crossed..... Hope to see you again soon. Cathy P.S. You are invited to my house this Saturday 9/17 for my housewarming party! I can offer you a backyard bbq and beer (no lines), and anonymity. Aside from my sister, I can tell everyone you're my buddy Sgt Richie from my Army days that I haven't seen in 10 years. Everybody who gets out of the Army grows their hair long and gets tattoos! There's even a pretty well known strip club, The Sugar Shack, 20 minutes away from my house. :) And if you're worried it's too far (Elkhorn, WI) you could take a helicopter- I have 25 acres, plenty of room for you to land.

Are you serious? You got involved with beer sales at a venue? That just blows my fucking mind. Awesome. Always trying to do right by people. Absolutely amazing. I applaud you. Here's to you for keepin it real!!!!

Once again I am reminded of all the reasons I love you.... You cant help when some things go wrong but you always try and that is so appreciated. I went to the Dallas show 6th concert for me this year and bought 6 t shirts slashing your prices in half was unheard of...No other artist would do that but you truly love your fans as much as they love you... By the way ran into Kracker this weekend he autographed a pic of you from the cruise with you doing your favorite sexual position... He got a good laugh out of it and said he is coming with us next year.. Cant wait to be back on that boat mother fu@@@r... Thanks for always trying to make things right for us fans.. i was thinking about venturing to the west side of the state, glad I didn't--well I am from the D and love your shows, Pine Knob, Joe Louis, Ford Field, Comerica. You r fantastic. Love ya....

Bobby, thx for doing ur BEST and makin this situation right. You probably pay several people to do ur "forward planning" and hope they are putting a list of "what went right & what went wrong" on this tour because your performances are "off the charts" so these unfortuate incidents (which i also had at ford field) detract from all KR & twisted brown trucker band's efforts. I would like to offer my services as a potential "quality coordinator" for your concerts/tours/events to eliminate these and other issues. Finally, when you see my BLACK Wings practice jersey with american flags on shoulders and "KID ROCK" #1 on the back at one of your many shows (8 this year from the "D" to phoenix @108' to london to toledo to allegan) I attend, hook me up with your "john hancock"

Thanks for always listening to feedback from your fans and trying to find solutions to problems that come up. You are such a class act! You rocked my world three times this year, with the last time being at the Allegan County Fair. I can't wait to see you again! I hope you do the tour of the small clubs in the winter that you were thinking about! I would love it!!and I am sure your other fans would too.

You certainly are a loyal, conscientious and reliable friend to us fans! THANKS for that, and for bringing us, yet another, great tour. No one can compete with your live performances! I can't wait for the smaller venue shows; but, by all means, take a long break -- you deserve it!! Much love and respect!! ~ Lisa

Don't let this discourage you from coming to SW MI for concerts. It was so nice to have you show up close to my area for once. It was a huge party with family, friends and kick ass entertainment from the man who's always been playing in the background the other times we've been having fun. I for one blew off the problems and focused on what I came for, the show. You put the work in, thanks.

Bob Ritchie UR the man, if U can't do it, NO ONE CAN. ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, You really listen to your fans and do"whats right", even if if was not under your control. There is something to be said for that. Thank You. I saw you twice this year, and the concert in Charlotte, NC was the best show I have ever been to. Hope you play one of your smaller venues here. We have Ovens Auditorium that would work out. If you do, I am going to meet you and shake your hand for bringing so much great music to the world. Peace
