Kid Rock likes his Jim Beam, that’s for sure.

Vintage Jim Beam barrels dotted the stage and bottles graced the shiny trailers of his semi-trucks Saturday night as Kid Rock poured himself a glass from behind the full bar on the set of his Allegan County Fairgrounds concert.

He also gulped his whiskey straight from the bottle on a stage adorned with huge shotguns and monstrous steer horns.

More than 12,000 fans, packed shoulder-to-shoulder at the Allegan County Fairgrounds, shrieked their approval and he voiced his appreciation right back.

“I know the economy is tough everywhere and I appreciate everyone who spent their money to come here tonight,” he said. The evening’s slight drizzle stopped just in time for the black-clad Kid Rock with his hair flying, to blast on the stage with “God Bless Saturday” and “Born Free,” from his eighth studio album (“Born Free”) released last November.

Greate concert at 15 rows back from center stage! Faster to leave and use restroom outside than wait in line for porta-jon. Beer wasn't bad, but I didn't like returning to find beer shut down. Stuck with beer tickets like me? Write to Faree Miller, Box 150, Allegan Fair Drive, Allegan, MI 49010 and demand a refund.

PKL... funny vid, thanks. The beer does not taste that bad, I am easily satisfied and tend to go for quantity over quality, so I'll stick to my Miller High Life. They should have posted the beer tents closing time... many people bought extra tickets and the venue closed at 9PM and they refused to refund tickets, which was simply highway robbery. Adding salt to the wound was seeing the Badass crew enjoying the product in quantity while watching the show and hearing Kid himself saying 'Let's all just enjoy a brew and some music'... it was as if everything he stands for is smoke and mirrors for corporate profit.

@MATTUSA...please look close at the BEER CAN in this video..NEVER, NEVER, NEVER drink one before a interview ~ Hope this makes ya laugh :) ... http://youtu.be/rvSJ6kh5D_o

This concert was my 3rd this year, ford field in jan followed by comerica in aug. and was not at all disappointed, friends and co workers were asking why are u going again? what?!?! why not? was my answer, its a awesome show and a great time and as long as im able i will go see any kid rock show within a couple hundred miles from home, central michigan has its benefits, anyways just wanted to say thanks for another great show. ive learned over time that you never know whats going to happen or what kind of people you are going to come in contact with at a kid rock show its not like a country show where you can be sure no ones going to knife ya! its not like a rock show where you know you will be seeing some freaky people and you are prepared for it,and its not like a rap show where you can pretty much guarantee your going to be bumping butts with "ganstas", you just never know and sometimes you get to meet some great people and sometimes you have to deal with assholes. i have been on both ends of the spectrum but always leave wanting more!!

check a few beer recipes also aftertaste is GROSE..and theres a remedy for that but NOPE not gonna tell ya that...They are working for you BOB if ya wanna change anything, recipe, processes ..etc ...Just DO IT.

This is distressing...I wasnt gonna mention this BUT ON THE BOAT during his concert our Waiter took our beer order and NEVER returned...DRY the whole concert...I was like WTF the only time I wouldnt have to worry about calling a cab and I was sober while everyone around me was SMASHEd for the most part. Note to PEOPLE BRING yer own...think outside the BOX..cause peeps will PUT YA ina BOX if you let them...DON'T LET THEM ~ you guys make the stuff sound like the holy grail of BEERS...if they cannot be ACCURATE don't do things HALFASSED best buisness advice I can give ya...milk haulers Loved me cause I never made them pick up a half haul of milk (dangerous) for the drivers...if the demand does not equal the supply try a mini can to offer. at the discounted price until supply can meet the demand...why am I having to do this?

Hi I am a fan club member and I wasn't going to complain but because another fan club member mentioned it I must. First the concert was over sold and crowd control was zero. People were horribly inconsiderate of everyone and it sucked because you could not see the stage due to the height of the stage. I paid good money for my seat as well and had to constantly tell people to get off their chairs so I could see something. Honestly I am tired of paying to see a concert that is on a screen instead of a stage, because of poor viewing. It was not nearly as bad as happy a front row ticket of $250 for Kenny Chesney and seeing his back for most of the concert. That was awful..... I did enjoy the atmosphere with you playing at a low key venue but someone could have made people stay off the chairs so everyone could see the show. Thanks again, I loved your birthday party the best but your show at Comerica was great too, as was my first one at Pine Knob last summer Still love you and your music....Keep on Caring!!!!! I could see the city of Allegan needed a boost to their economy. As a fan club member I would like to see a little better seating arrangements for members only. We support you year round. Love Ann

It was a great show... terrible venue...dangerously over-booked. I posted a comment last night that was removed... about buying tickets for beer and then having the beer tent suddenly close and the tickets were non-refundable... leaving us $30 short for the night, so I won't mention that again. Kid Rock was great, Badass Beer are drunken theives.

Loved this show, the venue absolutly SUCKED, however, I took my friend and it was her first time to see him in concert and she said "it was just a frickle compared to the show". We both have leg & feet issues and we made it through the whole show standing on rickedy chairs. WE LOVE KID ROCK, he is the greatest & does so many good things everywhere he goes. I have to say this show had the best pole dancers I've seen this year out of the three shows I've seen. I know how you feel about the empty nesters Bob, it'll pass in time...

Showed up at concert after waiting 2 months for my tickets that i ordered thru here and never received then was told to go to "will call" waited another half an hr while they try to find them!! Got to what they call a seat that we paid $80.00 a piece for 4 of them after paying $20.00 extra for entrance because we didn't have our physical tickets on us so $100.00 a piece total we get there and a 2 yr old couldn't have sat in the seat !!! we left when the "special guest" came out and sucked so bad I had enough of the guy behind me knees going up my butt and mine going up the guy in front of me!! Obviously over sold the event!! So wasted $450.00 and 1hr and half drive there and back never saw the concert!!! Will be calling the credit card company and telling them to cancel paying for these tickets. U would think being part of the fan club would matter !! I have been to 15 KID ROCK concerts and they were all good !!! This one obviously Allegan County Fair didn't care about crowd control or parking or people actually being able to enjoy themselves!! Jason Aldean show is sold out there at 8000 tickets and Kid Rock they sold 12,000 plus tickets for this event!!

WHAT AN AWESOME SHOW. PROBABLY THE SECOND BEST OF THE FIVE I SAW THIS YEAR. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GREAT AND I THINK YOU WERE AMAZING AND FULL OF ENERGY AND AT HOME WITHOUT ALL THE HASSLE AT THE OTHER VENUES, SO THANK YOU!!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ON THE CRUISE!!!! I LOVE HOW YOU BRING SO MUCH GOOD TO EVERY WHERE YOU PLAY, ESPECIALLY IN OUR PLACE WE CALL HOME.. MICHIGAN. FYI THERE WERE SOME ROWDY PEOPLE WHO WERE JUST PLAIN RUDE TO US TRUE FAN CLUB MEMBERS. MAYBE YOU SHOULD SET UP AN AREA WHERE FAN CLUB MEMBERS CAN SIT SO THEY CAN ENJOY THE SHOWS BETTER. ALSO, I HEARD SOME PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE TASTE OF THE BADASS BEER. I DON'T DRINK SO I DON'T KNOW, JUST THOUGHT I WOULD TELL YOU.

My soon to be Mother-in-law has wanted to see you "KID ROCK" since this Born Free Tour begin. She has been listening to your music for sometime now she is 71yrs. old she does have her picks now. Last nights concert, I was ready to knock a few out they were drunk and spilling beer on us. But hey it's a fair and I'm sure security wasn't top knotch when it came to the crowd b/c they weren't controling them where we sat. We paid on stub-hub $387.00 per ticket we purchased 2 that was not including tax and we were front row/section A seats 39 and 40. Besides the crowd having little or just no respect for others. You and your band put on a great show last night. We will try our best to try and come to see you at one of the smaller venues this winter I'm sure she would love it. I was amazed how much she enjoyed it last night I spent most of my time making sure no one bump into her or etc. I may see you around, I hear you sometimes get around up north. Keep up the good work and yes enjoy your time off with your family.May it be peaceful GB!

How much beer did you drink this week?? I saw you last Friday shirtless and your stomach was ripped! What is going on in this picture? Is this one of your Kid Rock fans from the rowdy crowd? Joking!!!

The concert was awesome, my favorite out of the 3 we have been to this year, starting with the opening night in Saginaw back in January!! Kid Rock puts on the best show, if you can't see his heart you must be blind!!!

would have loved to see ya but your concert in was cancelled due to flooding. Guess I missed my chance

My 13 year old & I had a awesome time at the show, our 2nd this year. Happy to see he thinks small venues are also worth playing. The seating on the ground was terrible, but not his fault, the fair people should of been better prepared & put more thought into it. But the Kid put on one hell of a show as usual.ANd tshirt prices were great. Got 1 for me & 1 for my son. Never a disappointing show with him. As for the "special guest" who cares, I was there to see Kid Rock... Can't wait until next Michigan show!!!!

Shanna here again, just wanted to say that out of the 5 shows this summer the version of Only god knows why, that u did last night was amazing, u need to put that on an ep. We waited all tour for Rock and roll Jesus , so happy u sang it and Son of Detroit, that was a bonus for us. Love it !!!

Had a BLAST...AGAIN! Love the Kid Rock! Awesome to see him in his home state! Just got back home in NC & hoping it won't be too long before I can see him again! Nothing but love and admiration!! He is the BEST!

I had a GREAT time! I seen a few negative comments on other sites. I must say nothing is ever perfect but it was worth it. He put the work in and made it a fantastic time. I spent all night on my feet, awoke sore, without a voice and his songs still in my head. Good times, good friends, life is good! People spill beer, lines are long, what do people expect in a crowd. No complaints from me, Thanks for the best time I've had in years Kid, please come back again!

I'm a 64-year-old lady and this was my first Kid Rock concert!! I haven't been so excited about a concert since I saw Elvis Presley in Detroit on New Years Eve many years ago, just months before he died. Kid Rock's outdoor concert last night in Allegan under a full moon was incredible!!! The electricity in the audience was evident. I was so impressed by his energy and talent that I will never forget last night!! I also loved the way he gave tribute to the people of Michigan, the military and the good ole USA. I'm already looking forward to his next concert! Thanks, Kid Rock, for making this "sexy old lady" fall in love with you and your music!!!!

Awesome show last night. Drove all way from Ontario for it, had front row center seats. Well worth the 8 hour drive. If u read this Bob, sorry about the driveway!! We just had to say we were there after driving all that way that we've been there!! We didn't mean any harm. We look forward to your next album and tour. Lots of love, shanna and Kelly.
