    Kid Rock likes his Jim Beam, that’s for sure.

    Vintage Jim Beam barrels dotted the stage and bottles graced the shiny trailers of his semi-trucks Saturday night as Kid Rock poured himself a glass from behind the full bar on the set of his Allegan County Fairgrounds concert.

    He also gulped his whiskey straight from the bottle on a stage adorned with huge shotguns and monstrous steer horns.

    More than 12,000 fans, packed shoulder-to-shoulder at the Allegan County Fairgrounds, shrieked their approval and he voiced his appreciation right back.

    “I know the economy is tough everywhere and I appreciate everyone who spent their money to come here tonight,” he said. The evening’s slight drizzle stopped just in time for the black-clad Kid Rock with his hair flying, to blast on the stage with “God Bless Saturday” and “Born Free,” from his eighth studio album (“Born Free”) released last November.

U go!!! Never Forget September 11th, I attended a motor cycle ralley today, 5,000+ riders for 60 miles, shut down I-95 and many other routes, ended at SeaSide Park in Bridgeport, CT. It was amazing!!! Lots of great people and money made for the charity.

It was a Fantastic Show!! If it wasn't for being at the Allegan Fair, I wouldn't have been able to go. We had seats in the back corner of the Grandstands and saw everything perfectly!! It was my son's birthday and he had a blast seeing Kid Rock and hanging out with his mom. Thanks for giving us a memory that will last a lifetime. (By the way he just is turning 19 and still thinks his mom is cool)

Last night was my third time seeing Kid Rock this year and he never DISAPPOINTS! He always puts on an amazing show and last night was no exception. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!! I am very impressed by how talented he is ...He isn't just a singer, he is an awesome musician as well and the best performer I have ever. I thank Kid Rock for playing a venue as small as Allegan County Fair. After seeing him at Comerica Park and Ford Field, It was nice to have a more intimate feel. On a negative note about Allegan County Fair, I don't think that they were properly prepared to handle the large crowd that you brought in. The chair situation on the track seating was BAD and could have lead to injuries. I think they should have secured the seats together so that they couldn't be moved, We had people all around us folding down their chairs and moving them back and crowding the people behind them. That is my only complaint. It was an otherwise perfect night. I would love to meet you and I know I am not alone. Would you consider adding a meet and greet to your VIP packages next tour? Thanks for all you do for MIchigan, the soldiers and your fans. God Bless you! Enjoy your break! You have earned it!

Show last night was Amazing, as always! I cannot believe people are complaining about the special guest. Who were you there to see? I was there to see Kid Rock! And complaining about $75 for a ticket? Try paying $300 at Comerica Park or Ford Field. The venue did the best they could with a crowd like that. This was my 3rd KR show this year. Nothing will top Ford Field for the birthday bash, but I paid half the price for 4th row at Allegan, and was super close due to the smaller stage. It was a bargain, and a fantastic show! No one does it like Bobby!

Last night KR put on a great show but shame on the Allegan Fair for misleading the public with a "special guest" and for the way they lined up the chairs. We paid $75.00 to watch him on a screen after buying tickets the minute they went on sale. I can't wait to see KR again - this time I'll wait until he's at a better venue.

3d time I've seen you this year and just as good as usual. I actually got to get to see your perform without having to watch the big screen. LOL What makes you special is that you can see you love your job and your fans and we love you! Thanks for another GREAT memory! It was well worth the drive all the way to Allegan and it was a very nice little fair. Kudos to the Allegan Fair Board! I fell over a pile of chairs and a couple of nice guys helped me up. It was a little squished, but when the walkways got full there was no way out. LOL Thanks again, until next year!

Special Kid Rock Fans Party Invite: Another Unlucky Gambling trip so the heck with Gambling! Let's Party. They give me a Comp Penthouse, food and beverage. Let's take advantage what do you think? I'm going to the Chandalier Bar on the 1.5 level to open tab and Party Starts there on Cosmo. I'm the middle age blue eyed blonde medium build with the Cock Hat on. Just look for the life of the party. Get our drink on. Then move the Party to the Penthouse where we have a huge balcanoy best view of Fountain and huge 2 Bedroom Penthouse to party in. Order food, booze, champaign and what ever else the Party Needs. Party all night!!! Why not I all ready paid for it. Have some fun!!! I'm married with kids in an open relationship but we don't fool around with others without each other so I'm out on sex get too much as it is and want to eliminate that pressure and just get drunk. Wife isn't on this trip. Besides none of you ladies could handle me whiskey you know what any ways. Cool couples are OK just want to meet some cool party type rock n rollers who are looking to have a party tonight and take a little back from all the money I piss away gambling. Cool clean respectfull people who deserve an invite like this. They have a CD system in the Penthouse so if someone could bring some CDs that would be great. Kid Rock Nickelback I love. Thank you Allegan Fair for bringing Kid Rock close to home. Bob was simply AmaZiNg!! My second KR concert but by no means my last. Keep Rocking Kid...I love you and thought your show was perfect! Hopefully the fair officials learned something about crowd control...I was glad for my good seat in the GrandStand! Enjoy your break...Now waiting for the next album...Love from a member of the KRC.

He put on yet another great show! Very disappointed in the lack of order and security. The chairs on the track were more of a hazard than a benefit. I realize we were at a rockin' concert and I expect to get bumped into from time to time but I don't expect to get blatantly assaulted and injured by some idiot just because he can't see and on top of that have the police tell me there is nothing they can do! I paid $75 to see an incredible show, which I did after missing the 1st three songs thanks to that moron.

The Allegan fair show was great. There was some sincere disappointment from the people who went with me and those sitting around us that the "special guest" was some warm up band and to be honest with you, we thought they were terrible and seemed to be the opinion of those sitting around us also. In fact our section kinda cleared out when they started and they didn't come back till show time. The fair was a little misleading and the media fed into the "who is the special guest" making people think that "someone great" was going to show up. Well the only great thing that showed up was Kid Rock, and you did rock it out as always!!!
