I'm sorry the show is being rescheduled but I understand why. I live in the area and just getting to WalMart this morning was an adventure. As for "three days in advance?", you can watch the weather and see that this weather isn't going anywhere in a hurry. In three days it could be worse. Safety should always come first. Permanent structure or not there is always danger with weather like this. Rain, flooding, high winds and possible tornados are not conditions for holding a concert. The danger is real and safety of the public and the band should be the first consideration, not how far someone drove to be here or how long you've had your tickets.

Thanks for letting peeps know. Safety does come first, and even if the building is safe, there might be other reasoning, for unsafe issues..... Sorry Kite, that you might not be able to attend now! :-(

Although I understand the safety issues,The Wharf is a permanent structure and not a stage just put together like the stage that collapsed.I spent a ton of money and traveled 8 hrs. to see this event and was really disappointed that they cancelled it 3 days before the concert date.As most of you have said ,these storms are so unpredictable and it could have been out of the area by the time Monday got here.I'm sure I'm not alone as many others have built their vacations around this event and have spent a lot of money. I know that I can't come back to the make up concert.I'm just disappointed that it was a hasty decision.Still a big fan!

Look at the bright side...now Kid Rock gets Labor Day off like the rest of us blue collar working stiffs! Sending a big THANK YOU to all the Military folks who made us free!

I just wanted to say Thank you guys for thinking of everyone's safety here. It just solidifies that the safety of his band and his fans comes first. Most venues and other bands wait until the last minute when it obvious they are thinking only about the all-mighty dollar vs the safety of the people that put them there in the first place, This show would've made number 3 this year. Looking forward to the rescheduled date. Many Many Thanks to Kid Rock and all those that cared enough to make the decision early instead of waiting until the last minute. We are four hours from the venue, so needless to say, I would have not made the show and would've lost the money for four tickets and some damned good seats. As much as I love watching him on stage and adore the band, traveling on Interstate 10 during a Tropical Storm is pretty much signing your own death certificate. Love you guys, you're the freakin best. Stay Safe. Michelle from Louisiana

they certainly don't need another stage collapse at one of these outdoor concerts. Good for you Kid Rock.

Wow....Kid actually canceled a show! This guy plays through everything, so you know it's a bad one if HE cancels! Of course, the safety of his fans comes first....he's a stand up guy!

I am sorry the show was canceled. However, tropical storms are so unpredictable, it would probably be too dangerous for KR and the fans at an outside show in the kind of weather that is expected. I saw KR last week in Atlanta. GREAT SHOW!!!! I will definitely be there for the rescheduled show. Wouldn't miss it!!!

I was sorry to hear the show got cancelled, but it needed to be due to the storm. I live in Florida and you never know what your gonna get from these type of storms. I will be at the reschedule date to watch Kid Rock perform. I love the man. Keep up the good music and work you do. Oh by the way, can you start selling Badass Beer in Florida?
