The love of my life is in the middle of training for his deployment in April. When i first heard this song my pride in what he does was so overwhelming. You described everything a guardsman is. We have not seen each other since January 1st and every time i start to really miss him i play the song and know that everything he does is appreciated! Kid you are a true patriot keep singing!

I am a US marine, my father was navy, my grandfather was air force, his father was army. We have a long line of warriors way back to ancient times, as far back as our family tree can be traced. We have served in every war since the dawn of man. We are a proud bunch of folk and people like kid rock remind us of just what it is we are fighting for. HOORAH!!!

I am a Vetran of Active duty USAF. My brother is a Vetran of Active Duty US Army My father was a draftee for the US Army in 1957 and instead joined the USAF. He served on Johnston Island during Nuclear testing and died in1985 of Lukemeia. My brother in law is currently in the National Guard and is a Fire Fighter here in Wisconsin. I admit I was never a fan of yours kid until Rock and Roll Jesus came out. your song Amen hit me in the face like a brick. i hope this one is like a ton of bricks in the face of all those who protest what our troops are doing over in Iraq. Our troops are there to save lives and they do it at the possibility of the ultimate sacrifice. I hope everyone in the United States sees this video. Thanks Kid for using your stardom to show Americans the true meaning of patriotism. Dennis - Wisconsin
