I want to thank Kid Rock for sharing Sgt. Ingrams story and helping to notify the public and his fans about this American Hero and Mikies Minutes. It's a travesty that any of our brave Servicemen/women should have to pay out of their pockets to talk to a loved one. In reality for some a phone call may be that last time their loved ones may ever hear their voices. I pray all of you will help support Mikies Minutes. I must also thank Kieth Famie for the heart wrenching documentary about Mikie called One Soldiers Story. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you about Miklies amazing family to take a tragedy and turn it into something so positive is just selfless. As a Combat Veteran myself I know the pain of missing your loved ones and never knowing if you'll ever see them again. Unfortunately when I was in we didn't have the technology we have today. So I hope all of us Kid Rock fans will support this great cause and bring some love into the hearts of our Servicemen/women and their families as they fight for our freedom all over the world. Remember freedom isn't free it's paid for with the blood of our Fallen Heroes like Mikie. Again thank you Kid Rock letting your fans know about Mikies Minutes and One Soldiers Story. Kid Rock thank you for supporting one of our fallen brothers. While we are deployed mickie always cared about his guys and what was going on in their lives. He was always there if you were having a bad day or if you just needed someone to talk to. I am always going to love and miss him, but we all know he is still watching over us and keeping us safe in everything we do. Thank You again for supporting such a great American Hero and Brother

You said it just right Bobby, Mikie is and will be forever, a true American BAD ASS HERO!!! You will never meet a more patriotic family than Mikie's. My husband and I are friends of his Dad & step Mom as well as his Mom and step Dad. They are freat people and very proud of their son. He is a Hometown-Motown made in Detroit hero. He is sadly missed by many, many, family, friends, peers, acquaintances, and people who has never even met him, but came to know him through the documentary, "One Soldiers Story" and the non-profit origination that was started in his memory; www.mikiesminutes.com. It makes absolutely no sense why our troops fighting in far away lands should have to pay to call their loved ones back home. Please go visit www.mikiesminutes.com and make a financial donation, or buy a t-shirt to show your support or join us in Monroe Michigan, for the coming home premier of "One Soldiers Story on September 26th @ Lazy Boy Theater at 6 p.m. After all, HE gave ALL, so we should ALL try to give SOME. Thank you MIKIE for paying the ultimate sacrifice so that I can live in this Land of the Free-Home of the BRAVE! R.I.P. You will NEVER be FORGOTTEN! Thanks Bobby for your support!

My husband and I, are members of the Michigan Patriot Guard, and had the honor of bringing the Ingram's son home. This is a great organization with many past service members having been in harms way at one time or another. They are the silent hero's, who stand in the side lines but are so very importnat with the motto " We stand for those who can no longer stand for themselves" It is a heart felt sadness when they have to escort these young hero's Like Mikie to there final resting place. My husband and myself have the great honor to say we live in the small town where Mikie was from we are residents of Newport, MI. I wand to say it makes me smile when I see someone as important to the public as yourself to take the time to coment on this young man and his family. They are all hero's in our eyes but this tribute "One soldiers story " is not just about one young man but about all the young men and women deployed in places of being in harms way. I would hope that the day comes that we, The MIPGR is no longer needed for service of welcome homes, farewells and the hardest of all saying a final goodbye to our brother and sisters. There will be a showing of Mikie story in Monroe, Michigan soon and urge all to take the time out of there busy lives to attend a viewing of it, you also are welcome Mr. Rock, It would be an honor if you could attend it. we are a small community but this community has a big heart. THOUGHT OF THE DAY: We left as friends, we came back as brothers. Thank you for your time, to listen. ghostrider and dragonfly from two of the many Michigan Patriot Guards, Newport, Michigan.

What an awesome tribute to our HOME TOWN HERO!!! Sadly to say the only time I had the honor of meeting this fine young man was when I went and paid my respects to him and his family for all their sacrifices for our country at his funeral. It was that day I was able to listen and learn what kind of young man he was! The Ingram/Kitt family are amazing people. They truly value the meaning of FAMILY! If you haven't seen the documentary "One Soldiers Story" please make every effort to do so. Every American should see this story. Thank You Sgt Michael Ingram Jr for your ultimate sacrifice. May the love from the people of this great country carry your family through their hard days until you are all reuntied again. God Bless You Ingram/Kitt families. I will always do my part to help you carry Mikies story! Thank You Kid Rock for honoring Mikie on your page! Much respect to you for supporting our HEROS! Guess I have to forgive you now for not singing "American Warrior" last week lol
