Saw the Aug 2nd show in San Diego. Great show!! Too bad there is not much said about it by Kid and his staff here, no pics, no comments...me thinks Kid really doesn't care for West Coast:) Oh well, good show.

Screw Politically Correct! Say what is truth and what is real.

Got to love Bob for his wit and honesty! Growing up on Southeast Michigan, Bob Seger is in my veins. He was my first rock idol. I also love that I grew up just 1/2 hr from Ann Arbor and can totally relate to many of Bob Seger's hits; like"Main Steet". State and Main Streets baby! It took someone the likes of Kid Rock to unseat John Mellancamp as "my man". Bob Ritchie is the heart and soul of the Midwest; with that just right cocky attitude thrown in! Patriotism, pride, roots, love of family, and a "fuck you if you don't like it" attitude that is in just the right measure! Can't wait for Comerica Park on the 12th!

Love the article. I can relate so much it's like dejavu..........also grew up with Bob Segar and Grand Funk. Raised with true Rock and Roll hall of Famers and having young parents also graduating in 89" but in the small town of Marine City, Michigan. Kid sticks to his guns which I truly admire. Bob Segar was the first concert my parents ever seen in Port Huron at McMoran, lol. I only wish I could have been there with them!! Kid..... you are a born natural with great advice!!! Practice makes perfect which we all know you are:)) Just love what you stand for and who you really are.........keep up the good work and never change that. Maybe more people will follow your lead. Thanks for the actual laugh out loud when I read about your idea of the pretty blonde snorting coke off a record!! Priceless:))

Nice story..can't believe I am not seeing you tonight or in San Diego. Hope you are enjoying the west coast and the nice weather we are having. I will put out good energy for you tonight in Irvine. No LA or Vegas what up with that?

Stands up for tradition? True to his roots? Please people, drop this so called musician like a hot rock. To have his production manager tell the stagehands who set up and take down his lighting, sound, staging etc. that they are to avert their eyes, and not make eye contact with him... rank egotistical amateurism. Hopefully this tour will crash and burn around him.

Any true fan would have to have your cd anyway......so F*** itunes in that matter.....i go to itunes for A song that I like, but that's it....never even knew that you didn't have yours on there....never even looked, once it came available to the stores I was on it like flys to you know what! It has nothing to do with the fact that you SOOO Hottttt!!

Mr. Kid Rocks best days are ahead of him. With the influences mentined in the article he has many directoins in which to be creative. I saw the Eagles last May in San Diego. Glen Frye and Henley are always on their game. Jerry Lee Lewis the name speaks for itself. The likes of Johny Cash, Motown, Grand Funk Railroad and The J. Geils Band who I have seen back in the 80's, love Peter Wolf.... Fuck American Idol........and their candy ass talent. They can not hold a candle to these great artists.

As much as we'd love to see you on itunes, we support your decision and understand it's basis. Perhaps, consider lesser avenues that reach the average like www.reverbnation.com . As for the babysitting stint...it's a dirty job...that cheryl is crazy...lol love from Jupiter C U on the Boat MF!

I just threw in a Don Henely cassette a few weeks ago (luckily my vehicle has a casette and a cd player), and one of my favorite songs by him is New York Minute. It's a song that grabs you and of course never played out on the radio. Hey, Kid should have a photo of a BRUNETTE with an old nickle bag of bunk weed in a sandwhich baggie seperating the seeds in between an opened up album cover......Now that would be a really old school kind of cover....you know I'm getting old. Especially since weed doesn't even have seeds anymore.....If we only did our homework with such patience and precise skill....we could have been the best medical marajuianna growers in the country!

Really like the interview, I feel the same about Idol and I-tunes I guess I'm just old school but I like my music on some type of vinyl or plastic disc to hold in my hand. Glad your touring with Sheryl Crow my husband and I will see you in Albuquerque.

Ok Kid -- we really need to talk about this Republican thing -- I just do not get how someone who is so liberally minded with important issues like human rights and basic fairness can be republican -- please enlighten me :)

So true about itunes. When I put in your cd I listen to the whole thing. Love all the songs. Never hit skip. But if I were to buy them individually I probably would only buy the hits and would have missed listening to some great songs that are now some of my favorites.

Good interview...I agree with the iTunes thing. Funny KR mentioned Seger's Ramblin Gamblin Man song I was just searching iTunes & YouTube for that song a few days ago, searched my parents Seger collection they don't got it...I wanna buy it somewhere. I think KR should remake that song, he'd sound great.

Read the interview, I guess why I love Kid Rock is when he talk about working hard at what you do to get where you want to be. I work 6 years 50 hrs a week and went to night school for 5 years, to become a Master Electrician, build my own company from the ground up. Being my own boss, only one who tells me what to do is my customer's and o'course my wife. And I have a little crooked little grim on my face with that one! But hard work will pay off. And I will never sell out! No fucking way on that! I was born to a poor farmer in southern Indiana, who was Quote "A Dick" who kicked my ass more than twice. I agree with Bobbie all the way!

I can't wait for a Cd to be released. I'd much rather own the Cd. I like the art work and pics, I like seeing who worked on what song..etc.. Nothing beats putting your new CD in the stereo! I'll be first in line to buy Kid Rock's next and the one after that! Love Bob Ritchie!!!
