    Kid Rock's Donation To Support Flood Victims

    The Kid Rock Foundation is giving a $10,000 gift to the Nebraska-Southwest Iowa region of the American Red Cross, to support disaster assistance including Missouri River flooding.

    Kid Rock will present local Red Cross staff with the donation backstage at Red Sky on Wednesday. When he sings the song, "Care," the artist plans to show a photo of the check presentation on the jumbo-tron along with a message asking people to ‘Text 2 Help’ the Red Cross.

    The star's $10,000 gift comes in addition to a $50,000 gift he made this spring to help southern areas devastated by tornadoes.

    “The Red Cross is very grateful to have Kid Rock’s support for disaster relief as we continue to fight back the Missouri River this summer,” said Tina Labellarte, CEO for the region's Red Cross. “Kid Rock has gone above and beyond to the support the Red Cross during one of our hardest storm seasons. He surprised us again with his latest gift- making his total contribution to Disaster Relief $60,000 this year."

God blesses us with U Kid, Thank You so much for the donation for our areas flooding disasters Red Cross. U make me so proud to be Ur fan. U r not only a giving soul but a very multi talented man. I got to see u in KC MO for my birthday but can't make it to Omaha due to can't breathe in this heat & humidity. Honestly I'd rather be rocking w/u than anything else that's for sure. Love Ya Kid & I totally agree with the gal below U have a heart of Gold & it shows not only in your Born Free cd but in what u do.
