No offense to Kid Rock, He Is Awesome. When it comes to Bart Adam Young, Kid Rock knows Bart is the Best. Bart Adam Young is the most talented Country Artist I have ever seen. It would be great to see Kid give Bart another Shot. Come on Bobby give him a chance. He is back, Clean and better than ever.
As a person who is familiar with Bart Adam Young, I can tell you with 100% certainty that he had legal rights to "Hell Yes, I'm Country" that was sung at the CMT Awards at one point. I saw him play it many many years ago and I have to say that nothing is as good as the original. I still have his version on my iPod for proof. Kid Rock did buy the rights to ALL of his songs (some 20+) and it is a legitimate business deal.
We loved everything about the opening of the CMT's. We keep rewinding it on the DVR. Kid Rock is and will always be the best. Our boys dance everytime to it when they watch it and anything Kid Rock. My favorite part is the "D" for DEVASTATING...Only K.R could come up with an answer that cool! Love Ya Kid. Keep up the great work. See ya again in August.
The opening of the show was just funny!
Your all jumping around and the whole crowd is just silently watching like ah what is going on?
Then you are all coming in to rock out and then Wynonaa she's all he what are you doing! She is all big too like kick your ass big!
Funny!
I liked the Thelma and Louise skit too! That was just funny.
Not as funny as you jumping around like your crazy at a Country show! Ha ha! O man that was just funny! The dancing was nice too!
I think the whole show went off with out a hitch!
awesome entrance! ...and who doesn't love Wynonna? I was very very proud of my fav detroit boy?
btw...some afterparty pics from your blackberry would have been kickass.....
The start of the awards show was the bomb. U r the best...maybe they will hv u host every year. Im sure u boost their ratings thru the roof! I know u r the only reason I watched the awards show....twice!
Only Rock could've pulled that off! My wife and I were wondering what he could do to top last year's entrance and when we heard the intro to Bawitdaba, we thought, "No freaking way! He's gonna blow the roof off that place this year!"
Then, Wynona stepped out and it all made sense. Bobby didn't want to scare those country folks, he was just havin' some fun. :)
What a great tune! Can't wait to hear the whole thing!!!
I thought the way Kid started the show was funny & great....wished I could've heard more of Bawitdaba...but, that'll have to wait for the next concert I go to...PINE KNOB...sorry, can't stop pouting about it. Since when the hell did Justin Bieber become a country singer? I was surprised to say the least, I never noticed the other nominees in the same category with Kid when I was voting. Something about that kid bugs the crap outta me...maybe 'cause I'm 41, not 14....whatever "Collide" should have won.
Loved the performance, both Wy and the Kid have an amazing range of vocal talent. I wouldn't have thought of pairing them but it worked. They can go from rock to country without skipping a beat. As far as Wy checking him out, I say go for it honey. A women can dream, this 50 something gramma does every time I see him perform. There may be snow on the roof but that don't mean there's no fire in the furnace. @polyfuze86...it was CMT. If ya don't like it don't watch, dropping the "F bomb" only shows ignorance and intolerance. If you are a true Kid Rock fan you must have noticed he doesn't limit himself to any one music genre.
