    Here is a video of Kid Rock being interviewed by Tim Roberts, Program Director of 99.5 WYCD. The interview took place on Belle Isle in Detroit following Rock's announcement of his concert at Comerica Park on Friday, August 12, 2011.

Who here remembers that rap song....Things that make you go Hummmmmm? That's how I feel when he mentioned Sammy Hagar. It's a pretty wild concept Kid, but then again your wild....I'll never stop loving Kid even thought he wants to sing with a sheep. I give Sammy credit, he used to paint houses before he became a rock star, but he was one of those ones that while growing up watching MTV I would look at him and think to myself, "What's he got that I don't?" I'd think," If he can make it why can't I?"....Does that happen to any of you sometimes? There were alot of weird looking male singers back in the 80's, trust me we were glued to MTV. We'd get stoned and laugh and make fun of some of them...Sammy has good vocals I'll give him that, but the rest you can have. But then again who am I to judge, it's just my personal opinion. I always liked the original singer from Van Halen....the one who could wear a pair of spandex like nobodys buisness...now that's what I'm talk'in about!

I tried and tried and tried to get vip tickets during the presale and I'm one his biggest fans and I couldn't get a ticket! But some assholes are already selling them online for triple the price...check it out! Im so fkn pissed. $728.00 per VIP ticket. Kid Rock doesn't have to take his shirt off at all because he's cooler than the water in a swimming pool. His chest is that of a diving board and his eyes are the color of the water in a swimming pool....I wouldn't mind trying a swan dive for the first time....that could be painful for him but not me! Now back to basics, I can't imagine watching my rock and roll Jesus and the guy who I call The Antichrist together on the same stage.....not Sammy Hagar.....Hummm Van Hagar....Now I know why God put me in a deep depression in the 90's, he knew I wouldn't be able to handle it. Okay, okay, I started comming to when I started to watch their videos.....But therre was something missimg or I mean someone missing and I just couldn't grasp it, it was surreal, not to mention the fact that Sammy looked a little like the boyfriend that had just broke my heart for the first time (payback is a bitch). Yea, he thought he was Elvis but we called him Alfis since he looked like the character Alf.....who resembles Sammy Hagar. Very interesting to say the least....1, 2, 3 lock box.....I can't drive 55! I saw Sammy before the Van Hagar days....He almost blew my ear drums out the window then came the giant blow up juke box....the memory remains. Muma mia what's Kid got up his sleeve next? He keeps scratching his hat....it's like one of those boys in grade school scratching their little finger nails down the chalk board...gives me the chills. Take the hat off Kid and really scratch your scalp....or I'd be happy to do it for ya! Ha,ha,ha.

I agree with Kidrockangel...you can take your shirt off for me anytime!!! LOL. Hell, I'll even take those bird legs, lol. J/K...You have a incredible sexy body. I know I am not the only one here that would agree with me. I am a 80's chic and love the long hair...would like to see the hats taken off once in a while, hint hint. *wink*. As far as the videos, I would love to see something come out by Christmas. I know you only get better with age, and you are your own worse critic (as I am too)...but give us fans something to get us through the winter...lol. Throw us a bone...damn..lol. I am counting down the days til my 40th bday...and will be there to celebrate it in INDY!!! Honestly this is the first time I remember looking forward to my bday!! LOL. I'm driving all the way from Louisville KY to see it. I will be the crazy lady screaming her head off down by the end stage. *Just like I was at the YUM center in Feb* Yea Baby!!! *75 days to go!!!!** Love ya and can't wait to see you host CMT again. MJ

Man, you did it to me again! :-) Two years in a row your Detroit Summer concert is the same weekend as the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk. I was so looking forward to the summer concert this year. Can't believe the way you announced your latest concert!! Oh yes, I can, you aren't like the others!! You are so cool and I love the way you paddle boarded down the Detroit river to Belle Isle. I spent many days there as a kid! It is still a cool place. Can't wait to see you on the cmt music awards, and in person if I can get tickets, but hoping I can for myself and 5 good friends! It wouldn't be summer in the D without you. Love you and love the music. You are the best..
