I've always looked at The Boss as the Common working man song writter but now it looks like there's a new Kid on the block! Ty Stone when he sings you feel the truth of life down to your bones. Maybe it's me because he's singing my song to, being that I grew up on Detroit St. in Lincoln Park, MI and my father who just passed retired from Great Lakes Steel, but I don't think it's just me I believe even the Boss would be moved by his songs. I am so glad it was Kid Rock who recognized his talent and extented his hand to him. I don't know Kid personaly but I do know people and I have so much respect for Kid Rock for the person he is on the inside. I take everything I see, hear, read, look deep into it and find what my heart tells me is the truth. Kid you are a wonderfull compassionate human being with a good heart! Thank you for being you.

Praise God! Beautiful story!!! I remember seeing a clip I believe, where Ty actually got a phone call with Kid Rock on the phone. I thought that was a cool clip, but to hear it with so many more details just gives me a huge smile, and inspiration too!

This is such a great story of talent, hard work and living the American dream. I am such a huge Kid Rock fan and seeing Ty on this last tour has turned me into a fan of his music as well. I got the American Style CD at the 2nd show I saw on the tour and I can't get enough of it. I was also lucky enough to meet him in KC and get a picture taken with him. If you don't have the CD....buy it!! My 13 yr old son was singing a line from a Ty Stone song the other day...you're catching on baby and going all the way to the top. Best of luck...you don't really need luck tho...you have the talent to back ya up!!!! So happy for you!!!

That's how it's done. I'm proud to be part of the KRC, thats why you got the fan base you do... yeah the music is pretty good... (c'mon you know your rock) but there is just soo much more. right on
