    Here is a video from Kid Rock's donation of $50,000 to five Detroit area charities on Monday, May 16, 2011.

    Rock's donation will support Detroit's recreation centers, a conservancy on Bell Isle, a youth theater group, a youth training agency and Habitat for Humanity.

In my opinion I really think that the folks that receive the assistance will be great full. I really think that if you are not racist you just are not racis. You just live your life period. People might read into things a little to much. You can never assume that some one is just in your mental state... they probably were thinking of something way different any way as every one is different, complex if you will. (You will not please everyone.) Also when you claw, scratch, kick and scream your way to were you want to be in life makes you appreciate every thing a little more than having it handed to you! That is called growing! I really do think the mentality is there... Some times if you just need to push a little harder. - Shove... what ever it takes to make it happen! Very cool. Giving back is very good! Making a difference very cool...very right. What else?

Bless your heart and soul. Its not only for a good cause, but it shows people to stick around their roots and to support the home ( towns ). If everyone just turns their backs and leaves, then villages, towns and citiies die out!!! In supporting home made things and giving money to local groups, we keep our homes alive! Also the possibilities of working close to home are greater if more people stay..... Cheers to you and I am quite sure, the ones recieving know what a good man you are and will appreciate every little bit of it!

I'm from Cleveland, TN and our town was hit by several tornado's including a F4 on April 27. We've had problems of getting the help we need to get our town back on it's feet. Nine people were killed and more than 600 homes damaged or destroyed. At the present time the supplies we have are running low and our community is doing all we can do to help the ones in need but we need help! If anyone would like to help please let me know and I can point you in the right direction! I'm a huge Kid Rock fan and I know how helpful other fans can be! (It would be even better if Mr. Kid Rock himself could make a short visit to the area and help us raise money??) We aren't but a few hours from Nashville....

I am so proud to know that my favorite Michigan boy-Rocker! was raised very similar to me and my friends and is so NOT selfish or narcissistic or greedy but has ethics and loves thy neighbor etc!
