Detroit shows going on-sale!

Hey Detroit Fans,

Tickets for the 8/16 and 8/17 shows at DTE Energy Music Theatre will begin this week.  Here's the low down...

Thursday, 4/18 at 10AM EST - pre-sales for current fan club members only
Friday 4/19 at 10AM EST - new memberships will be available in conjunction with the pre-sale
Saturday 4/20 at 10AM EST -  tickets will be available for general on-sale

The rest of the on-sale schedule is the same as previously posted HERE.

Hartford Courant Letter: Thanks Kid Rock For Ticket Price Policy

I thank Kid Rock for putting his fans first by offering tickets for $20 [April 11, Courant.com, "Kid Rock Drops Ticket Prices To $20, But Will the Industry Respond?"]. I hope more artists take steps to protect their fans from scalpers.

What gets me after reading the article is "Fan Freedom," the Stub Hub propaganda front. Fan Freedom aims to mislead and exploit real fans. Fan Freedom tries to protect the business of scalpers grabbing thousands of tickets for the best artists and then forcing the rest of us to pay them huge prices. Scalpers win, the artist and fans lose.

Tickets for all 4 Detroit shows went fast but there are still a few Platinum Seating tickets available here. And if you didn't get the tickets you want, don't go the scalper route. Just sit tight, we're brainstorming.
